kikenyoy
I'm very interested....thanks, but when I open the document I see mostly squares instead of letters. I'm using MS Word. What changes do I need to make to be able to read it?
klons
I'm very interested....thanks, but when I open the document I see mostly squares instead of letters. I'm using MS Word. What changes do I need to make to be able to read it? Sorry; I'm having some problems with the net at the moment. I just tried to edit the original post and half of it disappeared. Anyway I have a mac and I exported as word for windows which apparently didn't work for you. I tried a pdf before but that wouldn't attach. I'll try again later, as this site isn't responding well for me at present. I can also do as a pages document for mac if that might work.

eric67
If you download the .doc files, select everything and change the lettertype to Tahoma then it should work fine as well (at least, it did for me ) Thanks klons!!

klons
This one is ท่านชายในสายหมอก Prince in the fog It’s about the Prince of New Land goes to Thailand. He has his manservant assume the identy of the Prince while the real Prince goes out incognito as a tourist and gets in big trouble. I thought it was amusing enough to read. There is a link to the story at the Thai Rath and a link to youtube on the attached vocab list. There are also about a dozen words in there not from the story. I did try to paste the whole story together as one piece but something went wrong and I lost it. Don’t want to do it over again. princeinthefog vocabulary.pdf

Have you watched it? I watched most of the first episode, and thought either I hadn't seen either one of them, or they had massive plastic surgery since then. Which is the case? Can't say I'm familiar with Ken & Ann but assume they were the stars in the 2001 edition. I did download it but haven't actually watched much of it. I did notice this Gal was in the old one and the newest one.
leosmith
You made me wiki it. There are actually 4 versions (the first 2 under a different name). The one I want is 2001 (Ken and Ann). The one I watched must have been the 2012 version.

Do you think the script is the same as the 2012 version? From what lttle I’ve seen it should be quite similar. The opening spat at the lotus bog is a bit different and they didn’t have Ipads in 2001 but I did hear some of the same dialogue used like “ยายนินน่ะมันหัวดี เรียนอะไรก็ได้ทุน พ่อแม่ไม่ต้องควักเนื้อเลย” with some embellishments. It also seems to me that the actors in the 2001 version speak more clearly and are easier to understand than the ones in 2012.
klons
As you may know; these stories are available from different sources online. However, the same story is not identical at different sites. for instance: manager online has “จะฟ้องพ่อ” มุตตาว่า whilst Thairath has that as มุตตาขู่จะฟ้องพ่อ What I’m getting at is: for reading these stories in conjunction with watching the videos; the best place to get your reading material is manageronline http://www.manager.co.th/Drama/ViewNews.aspx?NewsID=9550000116058 They have more of the dialogue laid out nicely in quotes. Another good feature is the onsite text to speech function you can click and listen to a pretty good computer voice read the story.
