December 19, 201213 yr hi all my wife has an appointment at VFS on friday for a tourist visa application. i have all the information ready . a friend is telling us the payment for the visa cannot be made in cash. i cannot see anything on there website nor the appointment letter saying this ?

December 19, 201213 yr No panic... There is a bank in foyer of Regent house where you can get a cashier check. They are aware of the fees and the payee requirements
December 22, 201213 yr Author we took a cheque from SCB with us and all was well we had worries though the online visa app form stated a fee of 4056baht when printed out!@ .. the website said 3900.. so we phoned vfs and they confirmed 3900.. totally puzzled as to where 4056 came from but the lady at vfs answered my query to quickly so could be a bug in the online app they are aware of
December 23, 201213 yr Personally, I've always just used the bank in the building. I'm there anyway, and they do it so often, they know who to make the cheque payable to with no hassles, and know the usual fee.
January 1, 201313 yr The cost of the cheque was about 40baht, the last time i got one from the Bank in Regent house,
January 6, 201313 yr No panic... There is a bank in foyer of Regent house where you can get a cashier check. They are aware of the fees and the payee requirements I was advised of this option. I think it should be added to the website.
