Buying Phone On Ebay - What Will Work In Thailand?

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a phone on eBay but I am not sure what to look for, in terms of what will work in Thailand and what will not. I am seeing a lot of phones that are "jailbroken" or "unlocked"

Will these work with a regular Thai SIM card? What should I be looking for?

That's all you need one that's unlocked. Pop in the Thai SIM card and away you go.

Unless its a CDMA phone like Verizon or Sprint then they won't work

If your buying from USA And it is branded and you want to use 3G then you need a AT&T phone for true and Dtac and a T-Mobile phone for AIS or you need a phone that supports all bands like a 4s

is that right? i had an unlocked BB and that was fine.. just bought an unlocked Prada P940 in UK.. will this work with a thai sim?
