westbounder Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 I was shopping around the City today and I want to know the best brand A/C to buy. I need to buy two 24,000 BTU units for my new house. At Home Pro I was told both Mitsubishi and Daiken were very good. Daiken is about 3,000 baht cheaper per air conditioner. Thank You
Greenside Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 The DIY Housing Forum is better for your question. All brands are available in CM.
jingjoke Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 ^^ Both good choices. Mitsu has an inverter which will lower ur electric costs overtime.
Tywais Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 ^^ Both good choices. Mitsu has an inverter which will lower ur electric costs overtime. Agree on both choices. Daiken also has inverter models. There are two Mitsu brands, Mitsushibi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy. Seem to remember Heavy is the better choice based on a technician friend of mine. Believe parts availability and costs are much lower on them.
richard10365 Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Mitsubishi......not Heavy. Get one with the inverter. They are unbelievably quiet.
