Is the TEFL enough to start teaching in Thailand, I have been to the website and they are offering the course for around $1400(about £800 I think), but when I was reading about a work visa and teaching license, it stated that you should have a BA Degree in any subject plus the TEFL or equivalent qualification, this concerns me because I dont have a degree and wouldnt want to wast my money on the TEFL if I can not get a work permit. If anyone has any useful information regarding this matter it would be appreciated. Cheers. Thanks

You won't get a work permit without a Degree.

You can easily get work without a TEFL or Degree. Reliabilty and punctuality are often more important to employers.

A TEFL will make you marginally more employable than without.

^ It is actually possible to get a work permit without a degree mate, I know quite a few people that have done so.

Search for info.

Not easy though, but possible.
