“Angry” Tyre burning damages new pick-up in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--There was little Christmas Spirit at a small block of rooms in East Pattaya early on Tuesday Morning which saw an angry resident start a fire following an argument with his wife. The fire caused damage to a neighbor’s pick-up and he was less-than-impressed with the man’s actions.

Police were called to Soi Neun Plub Wan 14 just after 1am to deal with the situation which saw Khun Yaya aged 37 set fire to an old tyre. He then left the burning tyre but failed to see that the flames melted part of the rear light cover of a Black Nissan Big M pick-up belonging to Khun Manop aged 47 which was parked next to the fire. He was awoken by the pungent fumes coming from the burning tyre and was able to extinguish the flame himself.

He confronted Khun Yaya who was very apologetic and confirmed he would pay for all the damage caused.

Hmmmm, one has a ruck with your lady, so you go look for a tyre and set light to it , hmmmmm, l might understand if he had put the tyre round her neck first but.................

Nobody messes with Khun Manop ( or his pick-up ). Khun Yaya better honour his promise and come up with the cash. You don't want to get on the wrong side of Khun Manop.
