“Operation X-Ray” targets Huay Yai Municipality in Southern Pattaya outskirts

PATTAYA:--Huay Yai Municipality in the far southern outskirts of Pattaya has been identified as an area of high crime including excessive illegal drug activity which the Chief of District wants stopped.

Khun Chawalit, the Banglamung District Chief, who we understand is about to be promoted following his work around the District since he was appointed in 2011, will be initiating Operation X-Ray which will see the Huay Yai area in lockdown for a period of 90 days as officials attempt to rid the area of criminal activity, paying special attention to those who use and distribute illegal drugs.
