The official Thai government line is understandably prostitution is illegal and sex tourists are not wanted. But when the reality hits of machines threatening this lucrative trade which obviously is directly linked to the wealth of many elites, what then? Will robot prostitutes be illegal in Thailand the same way as sex toys? However, I have a lot of faith in both technologists and the profit motive and think this will really happen. So better than real with none of the potential complications.
