Here we are as another year draws to a close let's finish on a positive note and hear about some stories that has warmed your heart or given you inspiration.

My wife is an inspiration to me every day due to her general attitude in life, but the daughter just topped that a few days ago when she won a "gold" medal in her school sports day and since I am away working and wasn't there to see her, she told me on the phone this medal I keep this gold for you dad until you get home and I give for you and maybe you not have to go work so much,, bless her.

lovely story OP,also i loved the one where the OPs daughter was selling rememberance poppies, the Op who posted on his daughter in the uk sending money for her thai grandmother from her first paycheck, sorry to the OP i mentioned (cant remember who they were) but those stories brightend my day.

I'm assuming many TV members have already started indulging in with the festive spirits as the clock ticks down to the close of another year, so with that in mind I say all the best guys and have a good one

The fallen 96 & their families of the Hillsborough Tragedy finally getting a foot in the door ,hopefully proper justice will be served.

For me I'm just happy that 2012 is over. It was really a sh_t year. Just to start a new year is a feelgood factor by itself.

Furthermore I've to work on a new assignment : studying the opportunity to give more regional importance to our Bangkok office, which may means for me to move back to Bangkok smile.png . Our CEO was making his annual visit and during a dinner, he was happy and, lets be honest, a bit drunk. He knows I would love to come back to Bangkok, we left after the airport incident a few years ago, so he said that since the situtation seems to improve, I should study the opportunity to give back our Bangkok office the importance it had before the crisis. First thing the next morning I sent him an email to confirm and accept the mission and promised a complete report for his next visit in March. He was a bit surprised because he didn't really remember talking about the matter and even less asking me anything. But he's a nice guy so he said ok, lets talk about it in March ...

Now I've an official email from our CEO asking me to work on our "return" to Bangkok. I know it will be an uphill battle but every journey starts with a single step ...smile.png
