Conditioners For The "no Shampoo Method" ?

Featured Replies

I am looking for hair conditioners in Thailand, that are 100% free from silicones, mineral oils and alcohol.

Yes, I am getting into the famous "no shampoo method". ( http://www.collegefa...or-curly-girls/ ) smile.png But first I need to find the right conditioners, which seems kinda tricky here in Thailand. Everything I've looked at contains silicones or / and preservatives.

If you know of any silicone free conditioners that are available in Thailand, please let me know! I'd really appreciate it.

If you have a friend in Thailand who are into the "no shampoo method", please ask them for me.. Yes, I am desperate. biggrin.png

I bought Boots conditioner with seaweed and with honey and milk. Don't know about mineral oil and alcohol but they seem to be silicone free. I don't like it much, will order another conditioner from internet soon. You may also try to look for conditioners made by Lemongrass House, Evelyne and Crabtree, Chana, Sabai Arom, Botanics as those brand are known for silicones, sls and preservatives free products.

Loreal is selling sulfate and alcohol free shampoos and conditioners now,

Some vinegar mixed with water in a weak solution makes a great rinse. My girl uses it once a month for beautiful hair.

I do a 1/4 Apple Cider Vinegar to 3/4 water solution in a squirt bottle in the shower. It works great!

Check out the products by ByNature (so far found at GreenLine stores) I know they have no SLEs, SLSs, parabens, etc

I wish I could find cruelty free products

I've just recently read about baking soda as a shampoo, with apple cider vinegar as the rinse. NOTE apple cider vinegar..

If by that you mean not tested on animals, aren't there some at the Body Shop?

^ Cheaper to fly home and stock up.

Vinegar is acidic, and when mixed with baking soda will bubble/foam like crazy. I can't wait to try that!!

Baking soda is the best 'tooth paste.' Doesn't taste great, but very effective. Follow with 3% hydrogen peroxide rinse and bye bye gum disease.

Actually you use the vinegar separately after rinsing out the soda, Just make a soda and water paste, and use it like a shampoo, then rinse withwater, then rinse with vinegar and again w water.

Agree soda is better than toothpaste, some of which actually have sugar as evidenced by ants.
