Visa Ends On Monday - Fly Out On Tuesday: What To Do?

The visa stamp is OK until Monday.

There is an internal flight to Bangkok late Tuesday evening. (DMK)

There is then an international flight out of Thailand a bit after midnight,which is then Wednesday. (BKK)

What should be done?

Is it possible to somehow stay in the country till the international flight?

You can get 7 days from Immigration for a fee of 1,900 Baht.

Or you can pay the overstay fine at the airport provided you do not get arrested in the mean time.

The fine is 500 Baht a day.

i was led to understand they give u a i day grace,the fines only start on the 2nd day,

Fine starts on day one but it is not due if departing from airport that day - but if you stay longer all days are charged.
