Popular Post properjob Posted January 1, 2013 Popular Post Share Posted January 1, 2013 Last January Ped, the blues band leader from Saxophone Pub in Bangkok, was in town for one night only. He played Boy Blues Bar in Kalare Night Bazaar, and it was possibly the best night of live blues in the city all year. This year he's back. Tomorrow night, Wednesday 2nd January, he plays the same bar. It should be a big night, so anyone hoping to get a seat might want to get there before 9pm. I have zero financial interest in the bar or the event, and am only sharing this here because when I did the same last January, many forum members made it along and helped it become a great night. pj 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ped will play as front man with an excellent team of local musicians backing him. Music will begin about 9 pm and end about midnight. There is no cover charge. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the music will be seriously hot. Some locally-based musos will be jamming with the big man, too. A real great bluesman, will be a good night. BTW Took is back and playing at the Bar after a long break. The bar looks great and has real cold beer for once. properjob Posted January 3, 2013 Author Share Posted January 3, 2013 It was a superb night, and perhaps the busiest night ever at Boy Blues Bar. Everyone put on a great show, and Ped was fantastic.
