Sunscreening Carwindows With Text!?

Featured Replies

I just brought home my new Isuzy V-Cross,which had a sunscreening film put on its windows by the carcompany.I did not notis at first, that there is some text on the front window, just in front of my eyes, that is,in the middle of the window. After I saw it,it became very irritating. Also on one of the sidewindows is a larger text, also not so visible at first glance. Is this normal? My reaction is to take the car back tomorrow and demand to have this fixed, one way or another.Anyone has some knowledge on this subject:please let me know!

Yep Take it back and point it out no need to demand they should remove it no problem, its just print on the tinting. I had the same they used some solution to remove it no problems since.

Check the glove-box for a bag of cotton balls and vials of liquid. If so, moisten the cotton with the liquid and wipe the printing off.

Yup ^^^, they leave the identifying text on the film to prove that it's the stuff you requested. Should have a little bottle of alcohol (I think it is) to remove.

My sister-in-law has film with text on it. At first it wasn't noticeable, then once you see it, it becomes distracting. I'll have to try alcohol to see if I can remove it.

Thanks!

Makes sense, I wondered why they left it on and supplied you with the tools to remove it. I immediately thought laziness but I can now understand its left to prove they used the correct product.

Companies may also fraudulently print false logos and text onto cheap generic film.
