I know next to nothing about economics. But I'm thinking the second of the two statements above made the first one unnecessary. PS: Millions of people don't want to live in Thailand - and wouldn't be even slightly tempted even if they could buy land here (and among those that could afford it once the price of land rocketed upward, you'd probably find even fewer who do). A perfect example of sullen xenophobia, albeit against people of his own race. Xenophobia on behalf of foreigners, rather than against them. There's probably a word for that.
