My wife and I had planned to get a transit visa for china as we have a 11 hour layover in Shanghai. I did plan to get this visa while on our honeymoon in south korea but apparently foreigners can't apply for visas for china in south korea without an ARC. As we are currently located about 2 hours away from Ubon it is hard for us to get to bangkok. Anyone know if there is any way to get around the ARC requirement in south korea or know of a way to get around the visa requirement such as joining a tour etc?
