Mercedes Benz Cla And Mercedes Benz Gla Available In Thailand ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anybody knows if 2014 Benz CLA and 2014 Benz GLA will be available in Thailand ?

Usually when a new Mercedes Benz car is launched how long in advance can we start booking it ?

Thanks.

The CLA class will be launched in Thailand later this year. No confirmation of which models will be available, but the CLA180 and CLA250 are the most likely candidates..

No known plans to introduce the GLA class here.

Bookings can normally only be taken once an official announcement has been made, and the delivery time for a new model is usually around 6 months.

Hmm... well the A series went down like a lead balloon here. Typecast as a mia noi's car. So one would think any baby Merc on the same platform would suffer the same fate. Still at least it won't fall over in a tight corner.whistling.gif

Hello,

Thanks for reply.

What do you mean about the A class ? The new one is just available now, right ? But really hate this car, look so small and cheap.

Hope the CLA will look better, but 6 months to wait after having bought it is really too much.

Any chance to get a more expensive model faster ? It seems that all these cars are made in thailand, so why does it take so long to receive it ? Farmers working on it are reall slow ? :-)

Thanks.

The CLA will share the A Class front-end and interior - so if you don't like these aspects of the A Class you're not going to like the CLA...

As for delivery times, it's pure supply and demand, and I doubt a farang is going to have enough pull to queue jump all the rich Thai's that will be ordering for their kids and mia nois ;)

The gray market may be an option if there's an importer brave enough (though that's unlikely)...

Benz Thailand still don't know when the CLA will come.

Is it typical when new series are launched ?

Anybody knows what will be the next launch / facelift / remodel ?

Thanks.

MBT will showcase the CLA concept car at the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show in late March, and will launch the E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid, its first hybrid model for Thailand. The car is powered by a diesel engine plus electric motors developing a combined 750Nm of torque, and boasts a fuel economy of 22 km/litre.

Maybe possible to order the CLA in March ?

CLA was officially released today.

2.64M for the 2.0L turbo CLA250.

Now Mrs IMHO is indecisive though, scared it'll become a rich teenagers car :(
