A few I've come across in the past:

1. The Wandering Elbow ศอกเจ้าชู้

ชายผู้หนึ่งอยู่ในห้องโถงของโรงแรม เขาต้องการถามคำถามอะไรบางอย่างจากเสมียน ขณะที่เขาจะหันไปทางเคาน์เตอร์ต้อนรับด้านหน้า ก็บังเอิญชนถูกหญิงสาวผู้หนึ่งที่ยืนอยู่ข้างเขา โดยข้อศอกเขากระแทกเข้าไปที่อกของหญิงสาว

ทั้งคู่สะดุ้งตกใจพูดอะไรไม่ออก

พอได้สติ ชายหนุ่มรีบกล่าวขอโทษหญิงสาวอย่างสุภาพ

“คุณผู้หญิงครับ ถ้าหัวใจคุณนุ่มนวลอย่างหน้าอกของคุณละก้อ ผมรู้ว่าคุณต้องอภัยให้ผม”

2. Warning for People Visiting the Mountains เตือนไว้สำหรับคนที่จะไปเที่ยวดอย

ชายคนหนึ่งขับรถขึ้นไปบนดอย เพื่อจะไหว้พระ เมื่อถึงที่จอดรถ

เขาเห็นสาวชาวดอย คนหนึ่งเข้ามาเสนอขายสินค้า

สาวชาวดอยถาม เอา หิ หนุ มั๊ย

ชายหนุ่ม ( คิดในใจ) ดำปี๋เลย เอาไม่ลง

จึงตอบว่า ไม่เอาหรอก จะรีบเข้าไปไหว้พระ แล้วชายหนุ่มก็เข้าไปไหว้พระ

เมื่อไหว้พระเสร็จ ออกมามองไม่เห็นรถ

จึงถามสาวชาวดอยคนเดิมที่ยืนอยู่แถวๆนั้นว่า รถผมไปไหน?

สาวชาวดอยตอบว่า โตะ เขา ไป แล้ว โส น้า หน้า บอก ให้ เอา หิ หนุ ก้อ ไม่เชื่อ

(ตกเขาไปแล้ว บอกให้เอาหินหนุนก็ไม่เชื่อ)

3. Sending Signals ส่งสัญญาณ

หน่ม สาวหูหนวกคู่หนึ่งที่เพิ่ง แต่งงาน ตกกลางคืน ดับไฟแล้วจะใช้วิธีส่งภาษา มือให้กัน หนึ่งอาทิตย์ผ่านไป ฝ่ายสาวก็ตัดสินใจบอกสามีว ่า...

ภรรยา: ที่รัก...ฉันคิดว่่าฉันมีวิธีที่จะส ื่อสารให้ง่ายขึ้นเวลากลาง คืน

สามี: ทำยังไร

ภรรยา: ถ้าต้องการอย่างว่ากับฉัน ให้คึงนมซ้าย 1 ที แต่วันไหนอยากพักผ่อน ก็ให้ดึงนมข้างขวา 1 ที....เข้าใจมั้ย...

สามี: (พยักหน้าเข้าใจ แล้วเ่อ่ยขึ้นว่า...) เหมือนกันนะ ถ้าคุณต้องการ "อย่างว่า" กับผม ก็ดึง "จู๋" ผม 1 ที

ภรรยา: แล้วถ้าวันไหนไม่ต้องการล่ ะ

สามี: ก็ดึงจู๋ผม 50 ที!!

Is this right? I personally don't think the question makes a lot of sense. ตัว is a classifier for animals (and some other things). It doesn't quantify the legs. Oh well, maybe I just don't get the joke. Pardon me.

There are books in Thai อะไร...เอย (?) (I would translate the title "What is is, that...", you can get them in most Pailin stores) that have funny questions and answers, among them the Thai equivalents of

"Which four-letter word starts with F and ends with K and if you can't get one, you can use your hands?" "Fork"

Isn't that the point? You are supposed to hear; How many legs does a chicken have, even though the question was; How many chickens have legs.

People may well use incorrect classifiers and allowances are made. มีเสื้อกี่ตัว is correct มีขากี่ตัว is not, the joke is that the listener accepts it when they answer; สอง.

Schoolboy jokes advance learning by playing with grammar.

I think that I get it, not plated in gold but coloured from what the dog has been eating, but how would you translate ยิ้มทีไง ?

You missed a mark it was ยิ้มทีไง้

I only think I get it also.

The longdo dict has ไง้ = ไค้, งัดขึ้น, คัดง้าง

from various dictionaries I have:

ไค้, to pick (items) out (of); to scoop out

งัดขึ้น pry up

คัดง้าง [is] at an impasse; at loggerheads; unable to agree

The entry for ไง้ at Thailanguage from RID is

ไค้, งัดไปข้างๆ, คัดง้าง

งัดไปข้าง I can’t quite figure out, pry up something close by.

My guess is smiling at the dog dish or while scrounging around

or something like that.

I see what happens, when quoting, all that shows is 'gold teeth'.

I will try a translation.

A.Been to see the dog at the house

B. What's up with it?

A. ยิ้มทีฟันงี้เหลือง This can't simply say his teeth are yellow can it? maybe in Thai เหลือง has closer associations with gold than it has in English, or maybe it is a stand-up joke where the teller has control.
