Has anyone recently travelled Premium Economy with BA, BKK-LHR.

I read that BA are upgrading their PE service and would like to know if they have got round to the BKK-LHR route.

I flew PE with BA about 2 years ago BKK-Sydney and it did not feel like value for money (compared to for example Eva's PE).

Thanks

I haven't recently, but I agree that it's not value for money. They seem to price it towards business passengers with less money to spend rather than economy passengers with a bit more..

10 years ago was the last time I flew BA.

Ground staff ok but on the plane the staff think they are something special, had a massive rumble while sat in ground about the daughter who was under 2 but I paid for a seat and they said she needed to sit in it! Told them to get my bags! Got up, walked out the cabin door as they were about to close!

Basically that shat their pants as they had all bags in hold which is a security risk.

Anyway, CSD sorted it out and couldn't do more for us and got treated like royalty but not and won't fly them again unless all other carriers shut down!

I say vote with your feet, much better out there inc TG.

I haven't flown with them myself but I suggest Quantas PE might be better as I read that they serve biz class food and drinks rather than the economy fare on BA.

whistling.gif Can't answer that specifically as i haven;t flown that route or with BA in a long time.

My opinon, in general, is that Premium Economy is rarely worth the so-called benefits they charge you to much for.

I actually saw a Premium economy class service one time whose main selling point seemed to be that you got 5 inches of extra knee room if you upgraded to that Premium Economy seat.

Cost was $150 U.S.

Same food, same service, but merely 5 inches of knee room more for that price.

I didn't buy it.

QANTAS no longer fly LHR-BKK. For the money I would use the EVA premium service.

I like EVA PE but it gets booked up very quickly so we often find seats are not available.

For sub 6' dwarves, that's not a big deal. But for me, every inch counts.
