These are a bugger to shoot as they are quite tall and closest focus distance 45cm on my lens means I have to stand on my tip toes, which isn't ideal for stability. Popular Post samuijimmy Posted June 19, 2015 Author Popular Post Share Posted June 19, 2015 Some kind of a (wild) flower ? what flower.JPG It looks like it could be this...Amorphophalliua paeoniifolius, or Arum .... the flower is quite rare to see, but the plant is very common around parts of Thailand I have one in a pot that bloomed the last two years, it was just showing it's head a few days ago... must check it again! Some one told me the other day it also grows in a location closer to Surratthanni city ...must check that out... they usually bloom between January and April! The "bud" The flower!
