Think was more a case of me taking the exposure from the flower though,that's why the background looks darker. Portulaca Thanks. Keep seeing them all over the place and thought they are weeds. They come in many different colours and I do think they are beautiful. They come in many different colours and I do think they are beautiful. yep, in the colder climates you would dig up the tubers (hope that is the right term... so many years since I have had to use the term.... ) for the winter.... but here they seem to do well just about anywhere from dry to very wet conditions... Never seem to see them for sale in nurseries, so a matter of splitting off pieces from a "mother plant"..... from any one who has some...
