Taken with my A6000+ Jena DDR Sonna 135mm.............S/S 1/200,ISO 320,f8? Shaggy you are a wise man. You use your money to buy photo equipment then you can just take photos of flowers for your wife instead of buying the real thing and now you save more money for more photo gear. True photographic wisdom.

tolsti
When I was a kid in Africa we had hedges of Lantana and my sister and I used to pick the flowers and make 'tea'..... Never drank it of course!
Popular Post TP1
This is one from my garden. It's called Dalla and I got them from Kow Yiai. I bought about 10 plants with 3 different colours but this is the only colour that survived. Every year the 4 plants remaining give me lots of flowers.
sunshine51
When I was a kid in Africa we had hedges of Lantana and my sister and I used to pick the flowers and make 'tea'..... Never drank it of course! Tolsti...I'm glad you two didn't drink that "tea". You wouldn't be here today. Lantanas are an old tribal (out here anyway) means of killing rivals...in a "here, drink this" kinda way. Or the seeds were ground up & put into food. That nasty stuff said...I have been told down in Malaysia & Indonesia some "medecine men" use a very weak lantana "tea" to cure stuff like severe constipation & other intestinal ailments. Hmmmmmm. Plus it's used in other "tribal cures"...aka folk medecine. Kinda like eating Fugu in Japan. I ate it once and I'm still alive. That said I was taken to a famous restaurant in Yokohama that specialises in Fugu to eat it. However...when it's prepared, one wrong slip of the knife & the customer will die...after first noticing a slight tingle & then numbness of the mouth. What actually is Fugu? Puffer Fish.
