Farm party

This ones a new one for sure

but not sure if that is wise because once you have

seen one photo of a pig,duck,chicken or rice paddy then you have seen them all and I have the feeling

that I am starting to bore you all by posting the same things.....

You know I love the ducks and pigs Shaggy (and dogs). You choose a variety of settings for your photos so they are not boring seeing multiple duck or pig photos. Keep 'em coming.

Why not some photos of the lovely 'farm party' animals + ducks/pigs together?

another Muskovy story is a parallel to what Shaggy reported. when

Mr Muskovy disappeared (perhaps a big gator) Mrs Muskovy refused

food for several days and spend her time sitting very close to a door

which had a mirror like brass kickplate atached at the bottom. she

must have taken her reflection as being her husband.

we used to handfeed her and put a bowl of water next to her till she

was willing to wander around again and feed normally.

Another infection I got at the farm from walking in the mud barefoot. This time I learned not to ignore it but to clean it and treat it properly and it was gone in a couple of days.

They all pushed me to dance. I didn't go.. Instead I stayed in the background.

I preferred to hang out with the pancake man, who could speak a decent word of English.

and it also doesn't have to be very big to make a duck happy.

If I knew where you lived,I would bring a basket of these....leave them on your doorstep,knock on your door and then run away.

This is what I do when I get bored at the farm. I buy cheap crappy Chinese toys and play with them and the kids of course.

This is the balloon helicopter, it only worked 2 times but we had a lot of fun!

I lost count on the number of times people offered me whisky that night,and I didn't like to offend

For some unknown reason the ladyboys took a shine to me.....so I had a little dance with them

Not sure what was in that whisky that they gave me.....but it made me see strange things

Getting bored in Quatar...

Dragon fruit flower buds not far off opening

This particular leaf (for want of a better name) originally had four buds but the plant decide that was too many and let two die off.

Here it is here but only showing three of them.

Corn crop - Three days ago this was all laying flat after a rain storm as you can see now it is standing up again although I would prefer it if the weeds weren't there.

Ron, this is a very beautiful picture. Technically it's perfect. You have got the right lighting in the front and in the back. The perfect aperture and it is sharp allover. Very, very good.

Possibly a lucky shot using my Sony Cyber-shot as it is the only working dedicated camera that I have at the moment.I have a Sony A100 DSLR body handed down by my brother but I am waiting for him to send me a box of the nuts and bolts that go with it including battery,charger,lens,manual etc.
