siam2007 Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 the city that is called "KK" in South-East-Asia is called KOTA KINABALU, and YES, it is VERY MUCH alive and a very attractive destination for all sorts of backpackers, mid-range tourists and high-end travellers. But heck I was always wondering why my Bahasa Malay got me such strange looks. Bung Kaenakorn is nice too but not the same as looking at a new 'face' for the ride's duration about a meter in front of you.
