Ko Samet Accommodation

We want to visit Ko Samet prior to our visit to Pattaya in March, any hotel recommendations for a family 2 adults one child, pool wanted, not basic 3 star plus, something different a friend of mine years ago stayed somewhere in bungalows in the sea, I think, sounds a bit mad now I say it.

There are 16 resorts on Koh Samet with swimming pool, non are located out at sea, as you mentioned your not looking for basic 3 stars this leaves you little choice, the 4 stars are a little isolated away from amenities in the quiet north of Ao Noi Na or the quiet west coast of Ao Prao.

however there is a slightly expensive busy 4 star on Saikaew beach called Saikaew beach resort, this has a choice of 3 swimming pools with sea front villas

That is very helpful thanks, have wondered how much fun it might be to rough it in a beach hut. Would need fan and a bed though. Be nice experience for my daughter.
