Anyone know a shop that has a wide-bay scanner? I want to scan some old nautical charts that are about 2x3 feet. These scanners look like the extreme wide printers used to print big posters.

There are probably a number of places in the city that have wide bay scanners.

One very good shop is the large Jalalat Turagit, 151 Thanon Prapohkglao located in the vicinity of Yupharat School, and opposite to the right side of the Three Kings Statue, if you know where that is.

They offer a wide variety of digital printing services at reasonable prices and the staff are courteous and efficient.

I would have suggested any places that print Architectural plans would most likely be able to do that for you.

I just used Jalalat Turagit to scan a set of templates placed upon a large piece of paper for me.
I do not know yet if the scan size is 100 percent accurate..will find out when i come to print out the vinyls.
I hope they are.
They charged me 200 baht...which seemed like quite a lot for just one large page scan. Does that seem right?
Anyway, will re-post a little down the line if the scans were up to scratch for my purposes.
