PTT Pattaya Tennis Open begins

PATTAYA:--On Sunday at the Dusit Thani Resort in North Pattaya, the draw for the 2013 PTT Pattaya Women’s Tennis Open, which runs from now until 3rd February, took place.

The draw was hosted by Mr. Geoffrey Rowe, the Tournament Director and Khun Suwat, the President of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand Under Royal Patronage. In attendance was Khun Sontaya, Minister for Culture and his younger Brother, Khun Itipon, the Mayor of Pattaya.

Former world number one and 2008 French Open champion Ana Ivanovic, top seed at the PTT Pattaya Open, has been drawn to face Ayumi Morita of Japan in the first round.
