Comedian denies link to drug ring

BANGKOK: -- Yesterday, Theerachart Theerawittayakul, also known as Aood Pentor, shrugged off speculations that he was involved in a drug ring allegedly run by his sister-in-law.

The affair began when Kalasin police busted two drug dealers for possession of 15,727 methamphetamine pills in the Kuchinarai District.

The dealers insisted that Wassana Theerawittayakul, the wife of Aood Pentor’s brother, had been partially behind the illegal operation.

Wassana fled before she could be taken into custody and currently remains at large.
