The '50-50 Race' Pre-Election Polls Were Phony
Except, looking at the actual voting figures, they were not that far off! Look, I make no secret of my dislike for Trump, and just about everything he stands for. I have little time for much of the agenda of the Democratic Party. That doesn't matter, in as much as I am 1) not an American, and 2) under the American system he won. But it was effectively a straight binary choice, and he got less than 50%of the vote. Under the US system he won, but it was hardly a crushing victory for democracy! -

The BBC give them the womens footballer of the year award despite being banned from playing football in the Africa cup of nations for failing gender eligibility tests of course. It's been a rough few decades for the patriarchy with those pesky (actual) women getting equal rights and all that, but men have finally found a workaround using the classic "if you can't beat them join them" technique. Strikes me that this all a manufactured controversy designed to deflect from what a bad job the US government is doing ( it seems a peculiarly US controversy ). If people are occupied with men playing on a women's team, they ain't complaining about their deteriorating circumstances. Same goes for MMCC, covid and other irrelevances. -
