Why cant Thailand import the same decent quality crap from China that you get in Aus, USA, UK etc. You are lucky if a made in China toaster last 10 days in Thailand, you will get a year of use out of it in the UK.

Check the price you pay in the UK for most toasters and the equivalent you pay in Thailand - that's why.
