Maybe good news for those who work for a company and get paid a salary but not for the average Thai worker paid on a daily basis and do not get a holiday allowance.

This means they lose almost one weeks wages in that month which for those that come from the poorer side of the Thai chain will cause a few problems with feeding the family or paying the bills..

What makes you think that they'll get the days off?

I have been in Pattaya now a few days and am ready to go home !! I have been in such a panic and anxiety I have lost my glasses and can't see properly without them , I have had to lodge complaint with the hotel I am staying at . I took my glasses in my pocket to the hotel swimming pool , when I got there they were missing, it seems I may have lost them on the way waking there or the way back to my room. I told these silly people via the room phone I had lost my glasses where they proceed to

I have been asking the hotel reception and management who I must say haven't been helpful but that's another story I will go I to later when my local member of Parliament names them in Parliament My question is , I have absolutely no idea on how to get a new pair here in Pattaya Are eye sight tests free ? How long does it take to get the new spectacles ? I don't know where to start My local MP of Parliament in Australia has had his secretary send me a optometrist list , but who knows where to start ?

Dear Folks, As I recall it, I purchased a few pairs of CK-Jeans, back in the day, maybe around 1990, or before. The great thing about these jeans is that they hugged my legs, and emphasized my high points, A-LA one of my favorite singers, Seger.....and you know the song.... For some reason, I never discarded my CK jeans, probably in the hopes that I would fit into them….sometime in the future, through sheer optimism. The cotton quality was excellent, and good material is important to me.
