Dogs With Eye Problems

In our village outside of Lamphun, almost all of the dogs have 'weepy' mucus discharge from their eyes. Some are worst than others, but most dogs are affected. Any idea what this stuff is and what medication could be used to clear it up.

Probably either bacterial or viral conjunctivitis. As it is contagious, that can explain why many are seen with it. Viral conjunctivitis can also be related to distemper.
