I've just been searching on-line for a romantic poem in Thai with an English translation and i haven't had much success at sourcing a suitable poem or message.

I would be grateful for the knowledge and experience on this forum by members and i'm sure a few other members might decide to surprise their other half with a card written in Thai.

No it doesn`t. Translated into English, it says; I Miss You too.

ผมรักคุณ = phom rak khun - I love you = used by men.

ฉันรักคุณ = chan rak khun - I love you = used by women.

If you want your wife, girlfriend or partner to be hot and eager to tear off your clothes and have you make made passionate love to her on Valentines day, than give her your credit card and tell her she can go on a spending spree for the rest of the day. Works every time for me, even when it`s not Valentines Day and as a matter of fact, she doesn’t even need to be your wife.

Haha Chitty. Could have gotten a little confusing if you were sitting right next to her when you presented it. You might have ended up missing her!

Don't be such a wet blanket. It is the thought that counts, and I doubt if Thai women are any different than us western gals. We DO like the simple things. Of course a 1000 baht note in the card might help as well.

Thats not true. She will admire you took the time and effort to understand and try and explain in her native language how you feel about her. Id say we all should write valentines cards in Thai!

Dont be shy, who cares if your writing looks like a 5 year olds. I bet she will love you took the time and tried.

In a way he is right, it's like halloween in the UK. It's a western tradition caught on over here purely for profit. But you are right valetines is everywhere in Thailand.
