I am overseas at the moment. I want to send some flowers to my mrs for Valentines Day.

Just wondering if anyone knows how I can get flowers delviered to her in Bangkok for the 14th

The question is what to buy her instead ...

I just spent 2 months at her parents Farm. In anticipation of this day I found a photo frame in her bedroom, removed the back and slipped a 1,000 Baht note into it.

Told her recently and asked her to buy something ... just for her ... the only request was that she didn't spend it on her family ... I'm sure a photo will ensue.

Not the perfect solution ... but a practical one ...

Just send the flowers and be done with it, just be careful what type you send as some are reserved for funerals etc in Thai culture.( I found that out to my peril, when a staff member had a kid )

Just deposit the amount of money you would have spent on flowers direct to her bank account.

Sending flowers from overseas is a risky business. There might be gossip, loss of face, neighbours, fellow employees, friends, peers etc.
