Lap Pool In Naiharn/rawai/chalong Area?

Featured Replies

Hello!

I posted similar topic already quite a while ago but still didn't really find what I'm looking for..!

Looking for a "lap" pool (at least 25 meters) in Naiharn/Rawai or maybe even Chlong area (up to Chalong circle area still ok)

I know there is a public pool in Chalong, if passing the circle and driving towards town but actually this is already little far, if going from Naiharn/Rawai every day there for a swim..

Any ideas/tips/recommendations?

And yes, of course I'm willing to pay a monthly or daily fee but must be reasonable!

Thnks a lot

The Phuket Sea Resort on Rawai Beach, near the 7-11 has one. But I don't think they are very reasonable when it comes to price. You could always ask though. I also heard the large apartment building on Si Yuan that has a small lake in the front has one. I can't remember the name of it. A bit towards Nai Harn and across the road from the Stoned Crab.

Please report back on your findings. I need a pool where I can swim &/or walk laps as osteoarthritis, which started from an old rugby injury in my knee, is spreading to other parts.

Don't mean to hijack, so sorry, but

I have heard this before and have been looking for this public pool, but can't find it. Anybody know if it is still there, and if so where it is?

It is on the turn off from Chao Fa East on the road which runs past Wat Chalong to West.

Thanks, I'll give it another go.

Do you mean the one at Phuket Country Home?

Yes I think that is what it is called but I have not seen the pool for many years.

Unclear on why you would need a lap pool when the Andaman is clear green and warm.

Point to point at Nai Harn is a good lap, strap on a pair of goggles, off you go !

Low season/surf season, o.k. can be rough, but now, it is one big lap pool.

Reminds me, last surf season, quite big and rough, as I'm getting in to do a lap, two of the lifeguards came down to ask me if I knew what I was doing..........haha.
