ubonjoe
You can get a 60 day extension at immigration to visit your wife. You would need you need your wife to go with you. Plus copies of marriage certificate, wife's house book and ID. Copies your passport photo page, entry/permit to stay stamps and TM6 departure card. Completed TM7 application with attached photo and 1900 baht.

Lite Beer
Yes. 60 day "Thai Family Extension" has been around for years.
lopburi3
But until current police order in 2551 it was marked as "one time only" and very few reports of anyone actually obtaining. It has only recently become much more available.

lopburi3
Yes it can but both should visit immigration with full documentation (marriage/birth certificate/id card and home register for Thai)
