Eel In Thailand

Ok, so I am not an expert and I just need some advice. One of my friends is looking for large amounts of eel's, since I live in Thailand, he asked me about it and I would like to know, what kind of eels should I look for (for cooking), where should I look for them and do you have any ideea about it's pricing?

when i go to market i see eels sometime , but they look small .

smoked them or matelote yummy !
