smokie36 Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Annoying this is. Kindly publish the actual fare rather than a load of BS part fares. Not a criticism of the OP....rather the airlines. 2
pontius Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Outbound only? What's One Week mean? Useless "news" bit. 1
dundas Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Sorry but those prices are meaningless, unless you also spell out what the tax, fuel, security charges actually are. Even if they vary for different routes, you could at least give some sample itineraries and total prices. 1
Ricardo Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 The Etihad site itself appears to be still down, for a major upgrade, despite the on-screen message that it will be working again by today. It isn't.
KED Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I agree with all the previous posts - fares advertised should include fuel surcharge and taxes - anything else is misleading.

oldsailor35 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Just booked and paid ret BKK-Lon aug/sept economy with Qatar Bht 42000. Became fed up with all the "twists and turns" of booking other airlines, too confusing.
beano2274 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 booked BKK - LHR 30 Apr, returning from MXP to BKK on 15 May total 30615 per person on Qatar. Special promotion at the QSNCC travel fair.

triffid Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I need a one-month tkt departing mid march and Malaysian had 33,578 baht. Can this be beaten by other than indian or russian airlines?

beano2274 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 to reiterate the Etihad Website is up and working I checked prices earlier, as per my post.
jombom Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Booked a return to Europe (from BKK) recently for 32k with KLM. Etihad wanted 42k ---- that's a big difference.
beano2274 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 KLM sale ended on the 17th Feb if I remember correctly, as I liked the prices with them. In fact just checked online KLM Sales until the 28th Feb so hurry.

Can this be beaten by other than indian or russian airlines? dates? destination? Sorry, it's bkk/lhr/bkk flexible departure date between 10 and 15 march and return date between 10 and 12 april. And the Etihad site didn't work for me just now - 3.12 pm
smokie36 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 32k aint a bad deal....but hardly sensational either imho.
triffid Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 32k aint a bad deal....but hardly sensational either imho. If 32k was offered to me now for my dates (above) I'd snap it up. But I don't see it. Do you know of something like it or better?

Etihad site up - http://www.etihadairways.com/en-th/ I did a pretend booking on the front page of Etihad, the next page seemed to take a long long time to come up, then says no flights available for March
beano2274 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 The website does work it takes a long long time. But one problem on the front page it uses the Thai year 2556, but when you search it finds no flights for that period, however if you change the year to 2013 it does find flights.

Thanks, that was one of the problems I'd encountered, perhaps the programmer is still completing that part of the site.
cardholder Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I got 34,625 with EVA for BKK/LHR return. I prefer flying direct.

Like I said mine is BKK to LHR on 30 April, back from MXP to BKK on 15 May, 30615 with Qatar. This is a one month ticket (EVA's cheapest option) and I fly mid June. I actually booked through a Thai travel agent in Buriram (who is an ex-EVA flight attendant).

Like I said mine is BKK to LHR on 30 April, back from MXP to BKK on 15 May, 30615 with Qatar. The dates are key. I need to go by mid-March. None of the prices quoted so fa on this thread have been for March departure. I think I'll have to give up on Etihad, because I simply don't get into the next page once I key in my dates etc and hit the 'search' button. And the last attempt was two minutes ago.

Use matrix and put dates it and then plus or minus 2 days, see what you get, then go to the airline website and check. Etihad was working for me yesterday, had prices of 42000baht for your dates give or take a few days.
KhunBENQ Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Just tried a "deal" Bangkok - Frankfurt return in May (6 to 28). Could book if I'd like for 29905 all tax etc. included.
