Mortgage Interest Rates

Featured Replies

Hello people,

Does anyone know the typical Interest rates for a Mortgage in Thailand at the moment. The websites don't give any info and I'm not in Thailand to approach a bank.

Cheers

A

3.2 at the pink Gov. Bank...or so it was 4 months ago.

Standard rate is currently 6.25% variable

Banks are doing various offers for the first year/s

(I believe Shot in the previous post is quoting the ClMB special first year only offer)

For example

Bangkok Bank has three offers for you to choose from,

2.5% fixed for the first year then 6.25% variable

3.25% fixed for first two years then 6.25% variable

3.25% fixed first year, 4.25% fixed second year, 5.25% fixed third year then 6.25% variable.

The offers change every few months.

I have some more questions now regarding 'Thai Mortgage Monthly Overpayments' which I am going to open a new topic for as I think it will be good for the forum. It will be under that title so if anyone can help please do.
