Which Bus From Southern Bus Terminal To Khao San Road Area

As the title suggests, can you advise me what bus to take from the Southern bus terminal in bkk to khao san road area. I know that I

have to cross that busy road across from the terminal and wait there- but unsure which bus to take.

has it EVER crossed your mind that you can simply ask the people at the stop? All the time i read here all farang find the Thai so helpful and friendly.

Also: about ANY long-dist bus ending SaiThai before lets of the people-all Thai tipically get off then- a long way before- but in fact beyond SaiThai itself and at the right side of that 8-lane multiroad to catch taxis/buses into town. Nearby towns like Suphan and Kanchana have since 4-5 years loads of minibuses that in fact END opposite KhaoSarnrd.

From the bus terminal to Khao Sarn by taxi will cost you something like 70 baht. Taking a bus might save you 50 baht, but is it worth the hassle, particularly if you have bags?

I believe the 516 (blue aircon bus) does, but i would check with the bus conductor, as i took the bus a long time ago.

Yes, 516 and 511. 79 also, but it takes a roundabout route. All are nice AC buses.
