mattk1
Hi guys, I ordered a car back in December and was told it would be delivered in the third week of January. I am still waiting and suspect what they told me was a lie in order for me to place the order. I am starting to get impatient now as you can imagine but one thing that I thought about last night was the year free insurance starting date. Does it commence from the day you receive the car or from the day you place the order? Common sense is telling me it will be from the day I receive the car but I couldn't confirm this when I phoned them up. Cheers
PoolHustler
Starts from the day you drive the car out of the showroom
IMHO
Compulsory 3rd party and 1st class insurance start from the day you take delivery. Vehicle registration starts on the day you receive your white plates though (which is always some time after delivery).
