Saw Table

Featured Replies

Looking for a professional saw table to do some serious damage to wood. The bigger the better. Any idea where I can find one in or around CNX.

Thanks

If you don't have success with a local supplier i found thaicarpenter dot com to have a good selection of woodworking stuff and reliable. Unfortunately the web site is in Thai.

Have seen one or two in Global, look quite good.

Your OP name and cutting wood correlatethumbsup.gif

If you're after something like the Black&Decker workbench, they've got some in Homepro on 108.

B and D?

Not exactly professional I'd say.

All the Thai cabinet makers I have encountered use home built table saws. The table saw at Global House is quite small - definitely a hobby tool. Their radial arm saw is flimsy.

I remember some time ago, there was a Chinese company displaying their products in the parking lot of Global House. Very serious looking precision tables saws. Sadly, Global is not stocking them.

I saw an ok looking medium sized table saw at Building Sin on Meuang Samut road. GPS N18.79731 E98.99716 He might be able to order other models as well.

Hello Wimpy,

Many thanks for the coordinates. Will visit shop when I'm in town again.

Cheers

Thanks Farma, checked the website but seems to be hobby stuff. Can bring the logs to the local saw mills but I would like to be able to control and adjust the dimensions.

Cheers

Check this guy out, he speaks english and can order many kinds of tools. www.arkarnsin.com. Maybe one of the best tool shops in Chiang Mai.

I think that is the same shop I mentioned above. Didn't know he has a website.

I would have thought if you require a very heavy saw bench...have one made by a local carpenter shop
