Purchase Snorkel And Mask

Featured Replies

I would like to purchase a decent snorkel and mask while in Ao Nang.....are these readily available? And what can I expect to pay please?

Some dive shops sell it and with Aquaworld there is a specialised shop. You'll find them at the Southern end of Ao Nang beach, up the road about 100 m on the right.

Where are you going, might not even be worthwhile as coral pretty much finished.

Supersport should have a Mares or DeepBlue combo plenty enough for you

Mainly for the children to look at fish when feeding. Hong, Phi Phi and islands around Krabi will be our main destinations. Thanks for the replies.

Best to have your own gear but I do have to mention also that usually the boats you hire provide snorkel gear...

May pay you to also bring a few bottles of Aqua Ear with you.

The faecal coliform count in the waters of Phrang nga way above toxic levels this time of year.

I recently had some young Swiss girls stay with me. I took them to Supercheap and they purchased mask and snorkel sets for 65 THB.

Crap quality for sure...but well suited to the crap snorkelling opportunities that remain around Ao Nang at the tail end of high season.
