Mekong Bob
When a Thai national decides to move from one province to another, where does he/she begin the process of transferring to a new household? Is it with the "losing" household or the "gaining" household?I know that the owner of the "gaining" household must appear in person and sign forms before the new person can be added to that household. Is there a Thai website which addresses such matters? Thanks.
onthedarkside
Don't think so. The owner/house master of the new residence only needs to sign the transfer paperwork. No need to appear in person. Although the transferee must have the new residence original tabian baan in hand and a copy of the previous tabian baan to make the transfer.
