Bangkok and Thailand is a very important destination both for Scandinavian business and leisure travelers. We now look forward to offer our customers more and better options to reach Bangkok from all of Scandinavia,” says Rickard Gustafson, President and CEO, SAS.The new code-share agreement makes it possible for SAS to offer its customer nonstop flights from Scandinavia to Bangkok and for SAS and Thai to further strengthen their customer offer and market position in Scandinavia. SAS customers may now book directly and earn EuroBonus points on www.flysas.com Source: http://scandasia.com/sas-and-thai-expand-code-share-agreement-to-include-thai-nonstop-flights-scandinavia-bangkok/ -- ScandAsia 2013-03-06
NanLaew Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Makes more sense of the non-sense statement issued last week when SAS said they were temporarily suspending the CPH-BKK route. Now SAS can use their A340's on the new service to SFO and let THAI handle the 'suspended' flights to Bangkok. From the THAI website, they will service the route with their 777's.
