Pleas can I have some help.

We applied last year and with disappointment we were refused.

My wife did a TB test in Bangkok, 8 months ago is this still valid.

If not please can someone explain to me the process of the TB test. Ie hospital etc. I have no idea as I used a company last time.

Please also can you send any gutter advice on regards to documents required and which forms to use.

Thank you in advance

Kind Regards

I'm afraid that your wife will need to have another test as the certificates are only valid for six months http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/thailand/applying/tb-testing/?langname=UK English for some reason I cannot post the direct link to TB Testing, so click on this link, and then click on TB Testing in the left hand column.

There is a pinned topic at the top of the page, have a read through that and come back and ask if you have any specific questions meantime here is some advice regarding the required documentation http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/spouse-cp/documents/

The process is really not difficult, you will know why your wife's previous was refused so learn from that, take your time and don't be afraid to ask.

As i remember it you was refused due to you not meeting the maintenance requirement. I did advise you at the time you would get refused on these grounds as the agent you used gave you bad immigration advise.

I have been working since I returned to England. I now meet the financial requirements. Inact it's bang on. I will continue to be paid whilst I'm in Thailand and also will be returning to my job when return.

Is there anything else I need to know.

Ie which documents I need to bring with me to Thailand.

Thanks for the help so far

good luck with you application, but it really is not very hard to do yourself, save yourself some money and not use an agent plenty of info around if you are unsure about something

You will have to bring all your supporting documents with you, are you preparing and submitting the application yourself ?

I am 99.9% sure I will have all the necessary documents.

I am likely to do the application on my own hopefully with some advice along the way.

Thanks again for replying. As always your advice is appreciated.
