smileplur Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 That sure isn't a large quantity for a so-called dealer to be in possession of. I highly doubt he was selling if the story is true. 2
gosompoi Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 selling? .9 grams is not a dealers stash, I highly doubt he was selling but someone sold him down the river! 1
laurentbkk Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 so much noise for little quantity ? sounds very strange ...... 1
Rimkok Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Looks like they have caught a major drug dealer. The pathetic Thai police once again in action, catch the real dealers you pack of imbeciles. He should be released with a slap on the wrist (which of course he will be if he pays up).

lemoncake Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 May or may not be dealing, but being in possession is enough to get convicted and spend some quality time behind bars. Only speculating, but most likely one of his regular "friends" was caught and gave him up as a "prize" for her/his freedom. 2
Popular Post gosompoi Posted March 11, 2013 Popular Post Posted March 11, 2013 so much noise for little quantity ? sounds very strange ...... His first mistake was having drugs, second mistake was not having a work permit and third mistake was working in a profession only Thais are allowed. 8
lemoncake Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 so much noise for little quantity ? sounds very strange ...... the noise is because he is a foreigner
Popular Post Hockeybik Posted March 11, 2013 Popular Post Posted March 11, 2013 Damn... 61... I'm elderly... s*#t... 3
nakhonandy Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Hardly dealing quantities. Just a bit OTT by the cops as usual for a Farang.

Jingthing Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Tiny quantity. This is pretty outrageous. They don't believe him, why? Because a snitch with his own corrupt (and understandable) motivations claimed he was a dealer? I think the Swiss man needs a doctor not a prison cell. Really tragic. 1

belg Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 now that is a big bust compared to the 2 million pills and 50 kg of jaba ice
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 That sure isn't a large quantity for a so-called dealer to be in possession of. I highly doubt he was selling if the story is true. Maybe he'd already sold his stock?
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 selling? .9 grams is not a dealers stash, I highly doubt he was selling but someone sold him down the river! Good job on whoever sold him down the river.

Most sensible comment so far. 1
SOTIRIOS Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 ...it sounds like a 'set-up'....not a drug dealer.... ...he confessed he was a user....he should be forgiven and pardoned...like all Thais are... ...maybe they should investigate to stoolie.....
diddums Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Damn... 61... I'm elderly... s*#t... yes...you wake up one day and there you are.
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 What a joke the Thai police are. Pathetic. What is an even bigger joke is the pathetic drug users. 1
Jingthing Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 He was at least a user so that isn't the point of controversy here. The issue is was he a dealer. Are you really convinced of that?
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 May or may not be dealing, but being in possession is enough to get convicted and spend some quality time behind bars. Only speculating, but most likely one of his regular "friends" was caught and gave him up as a "prize" for her/his freedom. Well speculated, that's exactly what the report said happened.
doggie888888 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 How odd that the police should "uncover" an elderly drug dealer. Like uncovering a man hole.
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Hardly dealing quantities. Just a bit OTT by the cops as usual for a Farang. What's OTT about being arrested for doing something illegal?
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Tiny quantity. This is pretty outrageous. They don't believe him, why? Because a snitch with his own corrupt (and understandable) motivations claimed he was a dealer? I think the Swiss man needs a doctor not a prison cell. Really tragic. Big enough quantity to be illegal. Not at all outrageous. Deserves all that he gets.
Marlow999 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 How odd that the police should "uncover" an elderly drug dealer. Like uncovering a man hole. Yes, of course. What?
Kilgore Trout Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 That sure isn't a large quantity for a so-called dealer to be in possession of. I highly doubt he was selling if the story is true. Some people clearly dont know the difference between traficking and dealing:
tragickingdom Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 A highly unlikely scenario. Foreign drug dealers with a white face do not last very long. Let's call it a setup, entrapment maybe. The police have a very reliable witness as it seems a real drug user/dealer who must have noticed that the foreigner has money in his pocket, money that can be multiplied by telling his family to send more of those nice Swiss Francs. Thailand is full of police jokers, but the biggest of them can be found in border towns and tourist towns.
