A Silly Question - Sorry!

Recommended Posts

I want to exchange THB to GBP.

I think I am losing my mind but what rate am I buying GBP at? The bank/money exchanger buying or selling rate?

So sorry for this one everyone, I am not sure why I am confused as lived in Thai and been many times!!'

Thank you.

You will be buying at the higher of the 2 rates. I guess the spread would be around 44-46 THB to 1 pound now, so to buy a pound with THB will cost you 46 THB. If you were changing the other way they would give you 44 THB for 1 pound.

Just work out which is the worst rate for your circumstance - that's the one you will always get!

Yes, as I thought but still just over the 44thb - 1Gbp is good for me!!

Thanks

please explain why "over" is "good" for you. you want to buy GBP with THB, right? then below 44 should be good for you.

I am beginning to understand why the OP calls it a silly question
