I am wondering what will happen to all of their old exercise equipment? I would like to pick some of it up if it would ever see an auction or anything like that.

Any ideas on how to figure this out are appreciated. Maybe I can talk to some type of lawyer if I have to?

Without wishing to sound too cynical, it's almost certainly a matter of knowing someone close to the demised business and paying the right level of "facility fees" to ensure that you get a really good bargain at the expense of the creditors.

Either that, or they are leased and are being repossessed by the owners.

if thats the case, OP can try contacting the leasing company and see it they are selling.

Im guessing it would get shipped off to another location or they will liquidate it.

You guys have presented a lot of interesting ideas of what to look into. I just don't have the slightest idea to figure out which of the scenarios is actually the case... or how to go about contacting these people at all.

I wouldn't know how to do this in the USA either BTW.

In Australia some liquidations are listed online, on general liquidation websites or niche specific websites. Like there are mining liquidators, car liquidators and general liquidators.

I imagine the chance of that happening in Thailand is less though. I see there are ex-bank auctions listed online at least, mainly motorbikes and cars. I haven't looked too deeply though, there could be more.
