60 Day Tourist Visa Application, "guarantor In Thailand"

Featured Replies

My application form requests the name and address of a "Guarantor in Thailand." I've only been to Thailand once before - a short vacation from the brutally cold Swedish winters - and I don't know any Thais that I would ask to be my "guarantor." So my question is, what would be appropriate to put in that part of the form? Thanks in advance!

"self"

You are responsible for yourself.

I see that there is a "pinned" topic requesting that new topics specify age and nationality. I neglected to do that so here goes:

Age: 32

Nationality: French (currently a Swedish resident)

"self"

You are responsible for yourself.

Really? They'll accept that? Seems odd...

Thanks for your input.

Just put "Self" or leave blank.

It will be OK

Trust lopburi3 he is an expert on these issues. Not to mention, when I got my first TV in Canada, the man I dealt with at the Thai consulate I used, filled in the word "self" for me when he looked over my application.
