ThaiBob Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 I am now 65 and know I can not qualify for a new car loan even with a Thai guarantor. I would like to buy a new car in about a year. I do not want to pay cash. A Thai friend suggested that I take my chanote to the bank as collateral and they would give me a loan. Anybody ever done this?
